The Osha Rule

'The Osha Rule' is an action and horror thriller that follows the story of a young gang member who, in order to rise within his gang, is forced to participate in an occult Santería ritual led by the leader of his clan.

What appears to be a simple test of loyalty soon transforms into a curse that marks not only his life but also that of his little sister, as from that moment on, they begin to be haunted by a disturbing supernatural entity that constantly pursues them, giving them no respite.

In the midst of this conflict against evil, the figure of a social worker emerges who, upon discovering the terrifying situation the young people are going through, decides to risk everything to protect them, bravely facing forces that transcend the human and challenging a fate that seems already written, with the hope of giving them a chance at redemption before darkness consumes them forever.

The film, directed and written by Spanish director Ángel González ('Compulsion', '¿De que va la vida?'), features a cast that includes Mariela Garriga, Blas Polidori, Edgar Vittorino, Noakis Salazar, Felipe Londoño, and Adil Koukouh.

'Maleficio (The Rule of Osha)' premieres in theaters on October 3, 2025.
