The Songbirds' Secret

'The Secret of the Blue Tit' is a French animated film that takes us into the vacation of Lucie, a 9-year-old girl who is about to experience numerous adventures. The mother of little Lucie is the director of an archaeological excavation at the family's vacation spot: Bectoile. This is the village where Caroline, Lucie's mother, grew up, and here is where she keeps one of her greatest family secrets. However, Lucie's adventures will bring her closer and closer to this secret. Thanks to her new friend Yann and some very special singing birds, Lucie begins to explore her family's past and may unveil the mystery that everyone keeps.

Antoine Lanciaux directs this feature film, accompanied by a script from Pierre-Luc Granjon. The film features a careful stop-motion animation style that gives a very delicate quality to the story. The voice actors in the original version include Lucie Léontiadis (as Lucie), Anton Souverbie-Giorgis, Marina Le Guennec, Yannick Jaulin, François Marthouret, Hélène Friren, Thierry Buenafuente, Roseline Guinet, and Ciboulette.

'The Songbirds' Secret' is produced by Folimage, Les Armateurs, and Lunanime, among others. It is distributed by Pack Màgic and will arrive in theaters on January 23, 2026.
