Plot
Sons of immigrants who had to jump the fence of Melilla to flee their country Ghana, Iñaki and Nicolás (Nico) Williams are born in the Basque Country. There, they begin to stand out playing football until Athletic Club de Bilbao sees their potential and ends up signing them. Soon, the talent of both brothers starts to shine on the field, where their brotherly chemistry becomes evident, earning them praise from their fans. So much so, that both players have the opportunity to play for the national team: at which point their paths will separate. While Iñaki decides to represent his country of blood, Ghana, Nico chooses to represent the Spanish national team.
In this documentary, the brothers recall in the first person their experience at the World Cup in Qatar on two different teams, the victory of Athletic Club in the Copa del Rey, and the triumph of the Spanish national team in the last Eurocup, where Nico played a fundamental role. Thus, the two players reminisce about their past and their origins, including all kinds of comments, discrimination, and frustrations they have had to overcome to achieve success.
This documentary is directed by Raúl de la Fuente ('One More Day of Life'), who has acknowledged his great interest for many years in addressing brotherhood in some of his projects.
