'The Witch' trivia and fun facts

The premise is based on America's first witch hysteria in colonial New England, set 62 years before the infamous "Salem Witch Trials" which occurred in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The Satanic Temple has approved this film and hosted several screenings of the film. His spokesman, Jex Blackmore spoke about the film as "A stunning presentation of satanic vision that inform contemporary discussion of religious experience"

The plot follows a Puritan family encountering forces of evil in the woods beyond their New England farm. The Puritan Religion still remains in the United States.

The language the witches use in the film is mainly Enochian.
