Among surprises, happy moments and pitfalls in the middle of a poetic and fun culture shock, Amelie discover a side of Japan that had never known before. Codes, often impenetrable for Westerners, Japanese society becomes a hackneyed source of misunderstanding and misconceptions, causing embarrassing and funny situations.
