Two Catalonias

Directed by Spanish filmmakers Álvaro Longoria and Gerardo Olivares and produced and distributed by the V.o.D and streaming platform Netflix, 'Two Catalonias', is a documentary that shows the Catalonian independent movement, the conflict with Spain and the "procés" from an objective point of view, searching for a balance and the chance of representation for both Catalonia and Spain. Many figures from the Catalonian society and the Spanish society talk about the complexity surrounding the political and social situation as well as the resurgence of the independent movements in Spain. The documentary focuses specially on the ideological conflicts that surround the elections that took place the 21st of December as well as the declaration of independence by the Catalonian government.
