Nowadays superheroes are everywhere: the caped saviours aren't just plaguing our cinemas anymore, but our televisions too! The CW's 'Arrow' is just one of television's favourite crime fighters, but the series is set to change slightly next season.

 'Arrow'

'Arrow' began around six years ago now, but it's still doing pretty well for itself. The sixth season of the show is to end this month, and in classic CW style, the next season already has the go-ahead.

Unfortunately for some fans however, 'Arrow' is to lose one of its main characters: Quentin Lance. The actor behind the character, Paul Blackthorne has worked on 138 episodes of the show, but the time's come for Lance to bid farewell. Not much is known about Lance's exit as of yet, so we're not totally ruling out a potential guest appearance in the future.

All you need to know about 'Arrow'

Oliver Queen is a wealthy, stereotypical playboy by day, who moonlights as a righteous hero aided by his bow and arrow. By night, Oliver fights crime and attempts to right his wrongs all the while trying to make up with his ex-girlfriend. Along for the ride is chauffeur-bodyguard, John Diggle, who's determined to help his boss maintain his care-free and extravagant image. Things don't prove too easy for Oliver however, especially when he realises Starling City is a pit of conspiracy and crime.
