Alongside 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine', Fox also announced the cancellations of 'The Last Man on Earth' and 'The Mick'. All of the shows are due to be replaced by new comedies. Fans had hoped that Hulu would pick up the former show, but negotiations on that front seemed to lead to a dead end, leaving Andy Samberg and co without many other options.

Thankfully, a day later, creator, Dan Goor was able to confirm via his personal Twitter account that the show had been picked up by none other than NBC.

NBC Entertainment president, Roger Greenblatt spoke about his decision to ScreenRant: "Ever since we sold this show to Fox I've regretted letting it get away, and it's high time it came back to its rightful home".

And so everything was well again...

As soon as the news was confirmed, majority of the cast members took to Twitter to celebrate and the fans couldn't help but join in either. Take a look at some of our favourites below.
