Resident Evil

'Resident Evil' is a saga which movies talks around the idea of a devastated world after a zombie apocalypse. The movies are based on the well known Japanese videogames 'Biohazard', developed by Capcom and created by Shinji Mikami. 'Biohazard' is known in Europe and USA as 'Resident Evil'.


The movies aren't following the chronology of the videogames, but the stories is based on a characters of the saga.

'Resident' Evil is composed by: 'Resident Evil' (Paul W. S. Anderson, 2002), 'Resident Evil: Apocalypse' (Alexander Witt, 2004), 'Resident Evil: Extinction' (Russell Mulcahy, 2007), 'Resident Evil: Afterlife' (Paul W. S. Anderson, 2010), 'Resident Evil: Retribution' (Paul W. S. Anderson, 2012). The next film will be 'Resident Evil: The Final Chapter' (Paul W. S. Anderson, 2017).


The main character of the complete saga is Alice Abernathy (Milla Jovovich) who has supernatural powers. She has to survive living between zombies.

There are other three movies done with computer graphics by Capcom.
