The Embassy

'The Embassy' is a Spanish television series produced by Atresmedia. It premiered in April 2016; however, due to its low audience, it was not renewed for more seasons beyond the first.

This project combines a series of genres such as war cinema, drama, suspense, and political suspense.

Luis Salinas (Abel Folk) is the new Spanish ambassador in Thailand, so he and his family will move to Bangkok. 

Luis has a challenge in his new job, which is to eliminate any signs of corruption that may exist in the embassy. What none of them know is that this trip will be filled with secrets and infidelities. 

His wife Claudia (Belén Rueda) will begin a passionate love affair with her husband's secretary (Chino Darín) and their daughter Ester (Úrsula Corberó) will fall in love with the brother of the one who will be her great rival in the embassy. 

But they are not the only ones hiding a truth that eats away at them from within, as in the family and in the embassy, no one is safe. Will they all be able to withstand the charged atmosphere of hostility and appearances? Will anyone succumb to the pressure of a dark morality and a poisoned soul?
