The film follows Lima journalist Pedro Campos in an investigation into the mysterious disappearance of the baby of an emigrant.

Georgina Condori (Pamela Mendoza) is a Peruvian girl in the eighties destined body and soul to Andean music. One day, her newborn baby mysteriously disappears in the clinic where she had it. In parallel, the political situation in Peru was completely unstable. The Revolutionary Government of the Armed Forces fell and began the first democratic regimes after twelve years of dictatorship. At the time this happened, the terrorism of the Shining Path group and the MRTA threatened the streets, so when Georgina loses a baby in the midst of political chaos, she thinks what she has lost forever. However, Pedro Campos (Tommy Párraga), a young journalist based in Lima, decides to help and start an investigation to find Georgina's daughter. Both problems dealing with despair and helplessness in the foundations of a country consumed by violence, weapons and babies separated from the hands of their mothers without her acquiescence.

This film, based on a terrible true story, is the first film made by Peruvian director Melina León. The film rose as the winner of the Colón de Oro in the 45th edition of the Ibero-American Film Festival of Huelva and was one of the films of the Quinzaine des réalisateurs selection at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival.
