600 Miles

Gabriel Ripstein, Arturo Ripstein's son, presents '600 Miles', his debut as director. Tim Roth and Kristyan Ferrer star in this drama focused on a young man who steals guns for a Mexican cartel. Hank Harris, an ATF agent spend his day by day watching him from the United State border from Mexico. When he finally tries to arrest him, the roles get switched and he gets captured by Rubio instead. He wants to take the agent to his boss so he can prove them that he's important and a valuable member of the gang. But while they're on their way to meet the Mexican Cartel, during those 600 miles an unexpected friendship starts blooming between them. '600 Miles' was chosen as Mexico's choice for the Oscars 2016.
