A Better Man

Documentary film that shows a series of intimate conversations between a former couple who lived for two years with domestic violence. In a hot summer 22 years ago, Attiya Khan (who also directs) fled from her boyfriend, Steve frightened by his life. Now, many years later they meet to ask how he lived the relationship during that time.

'A Better Man' aims to bring a new energy to the movement to end all kinds of violence against women, wants to bring a fresh and nuanced look about the possible healing that can happen for all involved once the man has assumed responsibility for their actions.

He also wants to give the audience the opportunity to play new roles in the challenge to domestic violence.
