Plot
Awarded in 2005 at the Berlin Film Festival, 'A Year Without Love' tells the story of Pablo Pérez (Juan Minujín), a young writer of poetry who suffers from VIH, turning every day of his life in Buenos Aires into a fight against the illness. During the course in which he suffers from AIDS, and trying to find a new method to relieve his pain, Pablo enters the sadomasochistic world in order to find, through painful and pleasurable practices, find the strength he needs to continue fighting for his life, in addition to finding true love. The film is directed by Anahí Berneri ('Encarnación', 'Por tu culpa', 'Aire libre', 'Alanis'), and starring Juan Minujín, Mimí Ardú, Carlos Echevarría and Bárbara Lombardo.
