Alien Troopers

'Alien Troopers' is a Chinese sci-fi movie directed by Hui Yu, sometimes also called 'Rescue the Earth' and whose original title is 'Mori Jiuyuan'. It is a film produced for streaming platform Tencent Video and released on December 2nd, 2021. Its international distribution has been very limited, although the movie has seen some wide theatrical release in some counties in Latin America, including Mexico, where it was released with a big number of copies.

The action is set in a dystopian future where giant aliens have descended from space and after destroying stars have invaded all the Earth surface. To survive, mankind has needed to build underground cities and now lives under the earth following orders of a unified worldwide Government.

To try to regain the earth surface, survivors have been developing the definitive weapon for more than twenty years. The weapon is now distributed across several cities and is ready to de used. However, the alien has anticipated human's moves and has launched an attack against this cities. Now, the future of mankind is in the hands of a handful of men and women, the so called "Project Magnet", who has developed this powerful weapon. Will they be able to save mankind of this final invasion?
