Aligarh

This fact-based drama tells the story of Dr. Shrinivas Ramchandra Siras (Manoj Bajpai), a professor at the University of Aligarh who were fired from his post as teacher of the class of Modern Indian Languages because of an accusation of homosexuality. The teacher's life gets complicated due to the news released by a television program in which he could be seen hugging the puller of a rickshaw in his home inside the campus. Accompanying Bajpai on the role of the journalist who aired the case, we find Rajkummar Rao. The film is directed by Hansal Mehta and written by Apurva Asrani.
