Alivio

This documentary tells the story of three Mexican women: Blanca, Lupita and Angeles. Despite the fact that each one of them lives in a different part of the country and that they are totally strangers, their stories share some unsettling similarities: dark and painful pasts, with destructive and subjugating family backgrounds. They all have suffered different forms of abuse, but their shared vocation as nurses allows them to regain their confidence as they take the path to heal their deep wounds.
