Rookie and promise
¡Ana by day' is the first movie of Andrea Jaurrieta, who has been able to carry forward her project despite the adversities of the film industry. Like Carla Simón with 'Summer 1993', Jaurrieta is called to become a big promise in spanish cinema.
A dream fulfilled
The film has taken over seven years to carry forward, from being an independent project to count with the support of three foreign scolarships and participating in 'Small is biútiful' of the call 'Espagnolas in París' 's festival.
A national tribute
The title of the film is connected to an other spanish filmmaker, Luis Buñuel, whose movie 'Belle de jour' has inspired the film, as the director Andrea Jaurrieta confessed.
