And Their Children After Them

It's the summer of '92 in a lost valley in eastern France where Anthony and his cousin kill boredom by the lake, where they meet Stéphanie and Clémence.

Anthony is a 14-year-old boy who will discover his first love, the one that defines everything for him, while also marking a bittersweet moment in his life that will signify the end of childhood and the beginning of adulthood.

The paths of Anthony, Steph, and Hacine will cross, and their lives will intertwine successively, but what they don't know is that they will no longer be the same. Love will be the protagonist of the upcoming summers for these two teenage cousins who spend their summer paddling a canoe.

This film is directed by Ludovic Boukherma and Zoran Boukherma, who are also the screenwriters of this adaptation based on the eponymous novel by Nicolas Mathieu. The cast features Paul Kircher as Anthony, winner of Best Actor at the Sevilla and Venice Festivals, Louis Memmi as his cousin, Anouk Villemin as Clémence, and Angelina Woreth as Stéphanie.
