Plot
Marc and Eudald have been together for years and have built a routine that, from the outside, seems solid: stable jobs, a bright apartment, shared plans, and the feeling of having reached that emotional maturity that many pursue. However, the arrival of a new neighbor in the building across introduces an unexpected crack in that balance. Through the window, Marc begins to observe a life that feels foreign yet, at the same time, disturbingly attractive. What starts as simple curiosity transforms into a projection of everything he feels has been left out of his relationship.
As Marc allows himself to be swept away by a growing sense of discontent, Eudald senses the distance and doubles his efforts to strengthen the bond: he proposes plans, reactivates old complicities, and verbalizes the need to take a further step together. But the more he tries to solidify the shared project, the more evident the fracture becomes. The silent presence of the neighbor acts as a catalyst for accumulated doubts, forcing both to confront expectations they never fully articulated.
The film thus paints an intimate portrait of a couple at a turning point, where love coexists with the fear of giving up and the question of who they are —and who they could have been— becomes inevitable. Amidst crossed glances and pending conversations, the story explores the fragility of tacit agreements and the difficulty of sustaining desire when life moves towards irreversible decisions.
