Ardara

Macià is a young 23 years-old boy from Ciudadela, who decides to visit Ireland following the steps of a journey done by his parents twenty years ago. At the same time, Bruna and María, two young actresses from Barcelona, are looking for a quiet and isolated place to walk and disconnect from the noisy big city. Their paths will cross in the city of Ardara, and once they have met, they will be together until the last days of July, when those wonderful days come to an end in the same place where Europe ends: in the sea cliffs. Or, at least, that is what the locals say. Ardara reconstruct the trip of these three young people through the tales of those who witnessed their travels, and questions who they were and why they disappeared. Like a jugsaw, it arranges each point of view to recreate the picture of that summer. To sum up, it is a portrait of three young people who are far away from home in their blooding youth, but it is also a portrait of the people who observe them, describe them and remember the light they spread . It's a story which reflects the meaning of telling stories, the only way for human beings to understand and organize the world.

The film is directed by Raimon Fransoy and Xavier Puig and it is starred by Bruna Cusí, Macià Florit and María García Vera.
