In 1926, from the port of Pasaia in Guipuzcoa, disembarked the first ship dedicated to the cod's fishing. It transformed a prosper practice in Spain. The business was growing up to the point that, once finished the Civil War, the workers of this sector had to alternate his work in national territory with the travels to Canada and Greeland, that was where they get their products for following trade. The legends told that they travel to far place of here called 'Newfoundland'. After of live golden decades of cod, this industry undergo a tragic end. This documentary show the testimonies, frustrations and joys that the fishermen of one of the cod fleet more important in the Europe lived since the moment that this industry went broke in 1992.
