Plot
John Schlesinger directs 'Billy Liar', starring Tom Courtenay, Julie Christie and Wilfred Pickles. The story is focused on Billy, a man who doesn't like his real life and gets away to Ambrosia, a world that only exists in his mind, where he's the most important person and can be whoever he wants. His real dream is to become screenwriter, but he's not capable of moving on with his life because he dreams a lot. 'Billy Liar' was nominated to six BAFTA Awards, including Best Film and Best British Film.
