Ned Racine (William Hurt) is a young lawyer from Florida who leads a peaceful and monotonous life until he meets Matty Walker (Kathleen Turner). Then it starts between a torrid and intense romance that will only bring problems and headaches to the protagonist. Sensual woman is to be married to an ambitious businessman and veteran of the city, and suddenly Ned is between the rock and involved in a dangerous crime. Directed and written by Lawrence Kasdan, writer of 'Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back' (1980) and "Raiders of the Lost Ark '(1981), this film marked his directorial debut. It is considered one of the classic par excellence of black cinema and eroticism. Also starring Richard Crenna, Ted Danson, J.A. Preston and Mickey Rourke.
