BrightBurn

A married couple living in the rural town of Brightburn, Kansas, Tori Breyer (Elizabeth Banks, 'The Hunger Games', 'Pitch Perfect') and Kyle Breyer (David Denman, 'Puzzle', 'Logan Lucy'), are struggling to conceive a child of their own until one night their farmhouse is shaken up by an earthquake and a baby falls from the sky in a space pod. Twelve years later, their "adopted" son Brandon (Jackson A. Dunn, 'Avengers: Endgame', 'Shameless') is contacted by an extraterrestrial voice and begins to develop supernatural abilities, which he uses to do the voice's evil bidding. When Kyle's brother-in-law Noah (Matt Jones, 'Home', 'The Night Is Young') and Tori's sister Merilee (Meredith Hagner, 'Search Party', 'Hits') point out Brandon's newly erratic behaviour, Tori and Kyle begin to worry that their son's peculiar origins could have something to do with his frightening actions and violent impulses. Tori and Kyle must learn to see past the love for their son that is blinding them before Brandon's psychopathic powers become their downfall.
