Children of Blood and Bone

New project from Lucasfilm aside from the 'Star Wars' franchise. The film 'Children of Blood and Bone' adapts the book with the same title written by Tomi Adeyemi. The story takes us to a place once filled with magic, until a ruthless king ordered that the slaughter of every maji, people capable of creating huge flames, summoning powerful waves and such. Zélie Adebola lost her mother in the killing, but she is now willing to bring magic back with the help of a princess. But before she faces monarchy she will have to learn to control her powers. The young adults novel will become a movie with Kay Oyegun ('This is Us') in charge of the script.
