Historical film set in St. Petersburg that follows a group of national heroes who managed to save the Russian people builting a railway line with their own hands in order to liberate a city that remained isolated for years. In just seventeen days these brave Russians managed to build a three kilometers railway line that helped people survive the fierce blockade that was imposed in the winter of 1941-1942 .

The Spanish actor Javier Calvo, director of the film version of the play created by Javier Ambrossi and himself entitled 'La Llamada', will take part in this film playing a Spanish exile in Russia, which joined the many foreigners who do not hesitated to help as they could with the difficult task.
