Das Glaszimmer

Based on the childhood memories of screenwriter Josef Einwanger, 'Das Glaszimmer' is set in 1945, shortly before the end of World War II. Felix, 11, and his mother Anna are forced to flee a bombed-out Munich and head for the countryside. Felix feels the need to join the group of boys in town and begins to feel seduced by Nazi propaganda and his supporters. On the other hand, his mother suffers deeply, posing as a convinced National Socialist.
