Desperately Seeking Susan

Rosanna Arquette and Madonna are the stars of this 80s film directed by Susan Seidelman, which originally was to have Diane Keaton and Goldie Hawn in the lead roles.

Both portray Roberta and Susan, two women who have nothing in common and see their lives hopelessly entangled.

Roberta Glass is a bored housewife who decides to go in search of Susan, a woman she admires for the crazy and passionate life she leads. Along the way, Roberta has an accident and when she wakes up, not only suffers amnesia, but everyone keeps confusing her with Susan.
