Devoción

The film 'Devoción' follows the story of Fernando and Ruth. Fernando is a man accused of murder, for his part, Ruth is the woman who defends him at trial. Her infatuation with the accused turns the search for acquittal into a personal issue. During the film the various intimate encounters between these two characters are shown, which take place over different years and which unravel the intrigue of the crime that generates this plot.

Behind the script and direction of the feature film is Rafa Russo, a filmmaker born in Madrid and of Argentine parents who wrote his first script titled 'Lluvia en los zapatos' in 1998.

The protagonists of this story are the Argentine actor, Joaquín Furriel, who plays Fernando and the Andalusian actress, Elena Martínez, who plays Ruth.

Ezekiel Montes, who directed great performers such as Antonio Dechent, Alberto San Juan or Nancho Novo, acted as producer.

Malaga was the setting where the entire film was shot. In the same city, Russo's film was presented in the Official Out-of-Competition Section ofMálaga Premiere at the 26th edition of the renowned Malaga Film Festival.
