For a movie that\'s mainly about algorithms and the havoc they wreak on society, the French dystopian thriller Dog 51 doesn\'t appear conscious of the fact that it was made by an algorithm as well. Or at least that\'s what it seems like.

With its doses of Blade Runner, pinches of Hunger Games, and bucketfuls of any number of movies in which an unorthodox but decent cop goes rogue, Dog 51 is not exactly original. It is, however, an engaging ride.
