Elevation

''Elevation'' is a movie directed by George Nolfi.

In the near future, humanity is on the brink of extinction. Following the emergence of mysterious creatures from the underground that exterminated 95% of the world's population, the few survivors have been forced to take refuge in isolated communities located in the mountains.

In this fragile balance, Will's life unfolds, a father trying to keep his son Hunter safe in an environment where every resource is vital and every decision could be the last.

However, the child's respiratory illness and the shortage of oxygen filters force Will to make a desperate decision: to descend below the so-called “Line”, the deadly limit that separates the relative safety of the heights from the territory dominated by the creatures. 

For the dangerous mission, he will have the help of Nina, a scientist marked by the past who may know the monsters' weak point, and Katie, a young woman determined to keep them alive during the journey.

As they advance toward the abandoned cities, the group will not only have to face constant attacks and a hostile environment, but also their own fears, guilt, and tensions. 

The adventure thus becomes a race against time to save a child, but also a possible opportunity to discover how to stop the threat and offer humanity one last hope. 

''Elevation'' combines action, suspense, and emotion in a survival tale where love and perseverance stand as the only resistance against the end of the world.
