Plot
'England is Mine' is a film full of memories that The Smiths immortalized. From social gatherings in cemeteries to the most horrendous clubs of the night scene passing through the boring domestic life that everyone hides. The film talks about the life of the very well known Steven Patrick Morrissey, from his childhood in Manchester to becoming the most famous vocalist on the rock scene. The images of a contemplative Morrissey, as is expected from an indie, lead us to the madness of the musical world that he entered when he meet Johnny Marr. A phrase of the song 'Still Ill' from the English band is the tittle of the film directed by Mark Gill and starring young promises like Jack Lowden, Jessica Brown Findlay, Laurie Kynaston.
