Escape from Segovia

The film is based on events during 1976 with the same name. 'Escape from Segovia ' tells the story of a real leak occurred in 1976 , when a terrorist group ETA fled the prison where they were, through a tunnel that they were digging . Fleeing occurred during the fragile situation that Spain lived during the last months of the Franco regime , the transition to democracy. The film was starring Xabier Elorriaga , Mario Pardo, Álex Angulo and Guillermo Montesinos and the film won critical award of the San Sebastián International Film Festival .
