Flamin' Hot

'Flamin' Hot' tells the real story of Richard Montañez, the janitor of the company Frito-Lay that revolutionized the food industry when he combined the culture of his Mexican-American ascendence with his company's product, turning the Flamin' Hot Cheetos in one of the most famous snacks in pop culture today.

The film is a production by Franklin Entertainment, with a script written by Lewis Colick ('October Sky', 'Charlie St. Cloud') and directed by Eva Longoria, who besides working as an actress in movies like 'The Sentinel' and 'The Heartbreak Kid' and in the TV series 'Desperate Housewives', has directed the series 'Devious Maids', 'Telenovela', 'Jane the Virgin¡ and 'Black-ish', among others.

The cast is lead by Jesse García ('The Avengers', 'Ambulance') as Richard Montañez. We also find Annie Gonzalez ('Gentefied') as his wife, Emilio Rivera ('Sons of Anarchy') has Richard's dad, Dennis Haysbert ('Far from Heaven') as the mentor and Tony Shalhoub ('The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel') as CEO of PepsiCo, Roger Enrico. We can also find in the cast Matt Walsh, Bobby Soto and Pepe Serna. Directing the photography is Federico Cantini ADF ('Desire') and the designers of production are Brandon Mendez ('Black is King') and Cabot McMullen ('Shrinking', 'Super Troopers 2').
