The economic crisis drowns Mara, a middle-aged woman who, driven by economic ruin and the hospitalisation of her husband, will have to do the impossible and more to preserve everything she has been working for and safeguard her interests from creditors and from the social and banking situation it is going through in her country, Spain. However, she is not the only one that in this small provincial town has money problems, which will cause every 'Personal Guarantee' character will be so near of their limits.

'Personal Guarantee' is the first feature film of Rodrigo Rivas and has won the Audience Award at the 10th International Film Festival of Lieja (Belgium).
