Guava Island

'Guava Island' introduces the story of the Guava Island and Deni Maroon's music, narrated by Kofi Novia. Deni is a local musician, and he is organizing a festival that everybody in the town is exited for. Kofi works as a seamstress with Yara, and Denis works for Red Cargo, a business magnate on the island. While at work, Deni is taken to Red Cargo's office, where he injures him and breaks his guitar as well.

This musical thriller is directed by Hiro Murai (who directed Childish Gambino's 'This is America' video) and the script is written by Stephen Glover ('Atlanta'). The cast of the movie is formed by Donald Glover ('Atlanta', 'Community') as Deni, Rihanna as Kofi, Letitia Wright ('Black Panther') as Yara and Nonso Anozie ('Cinderella') as Red Cargo.
