Many splendid scenes, put this production on the same place as the untouchable Brian de Palma or Coppola's Cottom Club: three long takes (the entry to El Edén, the battle on the factory and the fight on the car) and a set piece (the final shootout) show, once again, the technical skill of this director.

On his first film, 'El desconocido', Dani de la Torre showed a great technical control over the thriller and the display of action that are not very common on Spanish cinema. On this next film, 'Gun City', the director keeps on moving in this direction, planning and designing the production with a special look into detail. [...] The film ends up being a mix of genres, from thriller to action to a mob movie or a romantic drama that tries to paint a picture of the historical context it is set on.
