Hanna and the Forgotten Christmas

'Hanna and the Forgotten Christmas' is the new animated film by Elena Ruiz. In it, the girl Hanna and her monster friends return, whom we could already see in 'Hanna and the Monsters', a 2023 film directed by Lorena Ares. This time, Hanna and the monsters come home for Christmas, to celebrate it for the first time at her house. However, Gárgola wishes to become the Spirit of Christmas to get everything she wants. In a moment of carelessness, all humans and all beings from different realities forget this holiday and erase it from their minds forever. 

That is why Hanna and the monsters will have to embark on the exciting mission of finding the Spirit of Christmas and having it correct the mistake it has made. With time running out and the evil Gárgola causing trouble alongside her loyal Cyclops, the mysterious Esna arrives to guide Hanna through magical and dangerous worlds. If they do not make it in time, Gárgola will usurp the throne and Christmas will disappear forever.

'Hanna and the Forgotten Christmas' serves as a continuation of 'Hanna and the Monsters', which also featured little Hanna as the protagonist, although with a different adventure. In this case, it is Hanna who goes to the world of the monsters in a feature film directed by Lorena Ares.

'Hanna and the Forgotten Christmas' is distributed by Alfa Pictures, premiered at the Sitges Festival, and will hit theaters on December 5, 2025.
