The Mercator Trail

'The Mercator Trail' tells the story of Benjamin, a technology addict who, upon inheriting a trunk of old objects from his missing father, discovers an atlas that belonged to the cartographer Mercator. The appearance of the book interests plenty of mysterious enemies who won't stop until have it. 'The Mercator Trail' follows the story of a team of archaeologists and explorers in their search for a lost treasure. Professor Jameson, a passionate researcher, discovers an ancient clue to the existence of a Mercator map that could reveal hidden secrets about world history. Alongisde his team, he embarks on a dangerous expedition through different parts of the world in search of the lost map. However, they soon realize that they are not alone in their journey. A mysterious secret organization is also on the team's trail, willing to do whatever it takes to obtain the map and use it for their own plans. Throughout their journey, the team faces challenges and dangers, and must make difficult decisions that test their courage and loyalty.

It is produced by Eyeworks Film, one of the most important companies in the Belgian industry, responsible for other box office hits. This feature film is the debut of Douglas Boswell, a young director with a brief experience in the field of television.
