Havoc

'Havoc' is a British-American action thriller written and directed by Gareth Evans. It is produced by XYZ Films for the streaming platform Netflix, which will release it worldwide on April 25, 2025.

The film is starring actor Tom Hardy, who plays police officer Patrick Walker, a homicide detective hired by Lawrence Beaumont, a wealthy real estate mogul and mayoral candidate in his city, which is completely overrun by drugs.

Charlie, his son, has just disappeared, accused of stealing a shipment of cocaine and murdering the local mafia leader. Thus, Beaumont tasks Walker with rescuing his son. The police officer must investigate the city's triad underworld while uncovering a whole plot of corruption and conspiracy.

As if that weren't enough, Walker, who is estranged from his family, must confront ghosts from the past while carrying out this rescue.

In addition to Hardy, 'Havoc' features performances by Luis Guzmán, Timothy Olyphant, Justin Cornwell, Forest Whitaker, Jessie Meli Li, Quelin Sepulveda, and Sunny Pang, among others. The film, considered one of the largest productions to be shot in Wales, finished filming in 2021. However, it required reshooting some scenes that coincided with the actors' and writers' strike, which has delayed its release by four years.
