Heiress of the Wind

'Heirness of the Wind' is the first feature-length documentary of the filmmaker Gloria Carrión, where she presents both the present and the history of her family. Premiered internationally at International Documentary Festival of Amsterdam (IDFA) from November 15th to 27th, the story revolves around the Sandinista Revolution that took place in Nicaragua in the early eighties, where Gloria Carrión grew up in a family fascinated and involved with the idea of revolution. With the end of the revolutionary dream, no one else mentioned anything since that decade, and 36 years later the filmmaker uses the silence of her parents to narrate some events that left wounds untouched all over the country.
