High-Rise

'High-Rise' is a science fiction film based on the novel by J. G. Ballard. Located in London, 1975. Robert Laing is a young doctor, seduced by a luxury lifestyle and high social class, living in a community isolated from the rest of society as a luxury apartment building, along with its creator the architect Anthony Real. He lives on the 25th floor of the building. Laing discovers a world of quite complex loyalties, besides starting a relationship with a Royal's devoted aide, Charlotte. Laing befriends Richard Wilder, a director of documentaries frustrated living on the second floor. This friendship will start a break in the perfect high class, provoking a dangerous and violent social situation.
