I Stand Alone

We are in France, in 1980. A butcher (Philippe Nahon) lives alone with his daughter after his wife leaves them. The day the girl gets her first monthlies, she runs to the butchery of her father who, seeing the blood, believes that her daughter has been raped. Then the butcher leaves the tent and, out of control, attacks an innocent. The girl is hospitalized and he is locked up in prison.
