The result is a humane and sincere work, somewhat against the grain: the director's best since the revisitable “Empieza el baile”.

Neither Marina Seresesky's script nor direction quite manage to strike the right balance between comedy and drama, nor do they lend the essence of the story sufficient grandeur to truly capture the ideas of sunset and sunrise, but the scaffolding remains standing thanks to the dedication, colour, appeal and many other interpretations that an actress in top form brings to the character.
