'John Wick' is intended to be a trilogy, this film being the second in that trilogy.

Screenwriter Kyle Ward polished the final screenplay.

In preparation for the role Keanu Reeves was trained by ex SF members in dual weapons and close quarters shooting.

Shooting for the film will begin in the fall of 2015 in Brooklyn.

This will be the first time Laurence Fishburne and Keanu Reeves worked together since 'Matrix Revolutions.'
