'John Wick' is intended to be a trilogy, this film being the second in that trilogy.

The film's director was a stunt man in the 'Matrix' trilogy, in which Keanu Reeves played the main character.

This will be the first time Laurence Fishburne and Keanu Reeves worked together since 'Matrix Revolutions.'

In preparation for the role Keanu Reeves was trained by ex SF members in dual weapons and close quarters shooting.

Shooting for the film will begin in the fall of 2015 in Brooklyn.

Keanu Reeves and Common also appeared as enemies in 'Street Kings'.
