Jolt

'Jolt' has Lindy (Kate Beckinsale) as its main character, a bouncer with anger management issues. Beckinsale's character is used to control her violence through a vest with electrodes which she uses to electrocute herself with whenever she feels her homicidal instincts kicking in. It seems like her misery ends once she meets Justin, which whom she develops and extraordinary connection. When Justin is murdered, Lindy will unleash her rage to find the killer of her love and get revenge.

Meanwhile, the detectives Vicars and Nevin are chasing Lindy because they consider her as the main suspect of the murder. The film is directed by Tanya Wexler ('Hysteria') and has a script written by Scott Wascha. The cast also includes Laverne Cox ('Freak Show'), Jai Courtney (The Suicide Squad'), Bobby Cannavale (The Irishman), Stanley Tucci (A Private War'), David Bradley ('Await Further Instructions') and Ori Pfeffer ('Angel has fallen').
