Plot

Before Indian Independence, many Tamils from South India were sent to Malaysia as indentured laborers. After many years the main character of the film, Kabali, will fight this oppression after a lengthy imprisonment. When the fate of his people is in danger he is more determined than ever to fight for them and for independence.
