Following the same path that earned him attention a few years back in Cash Only, Malik Bader roots for men who do stupid things with other people's money in Killerman, a bloody crime flick starring Liam Hemsworth. This time, though, the protagonist is not a victim of circumstance but an underworld figure who knows the risks going in -a difference that turns out to matter, as this picture lacks the palpable desperation that made its predecessor so compelling.

Liam Hemsworth takes a machete stab at playing a furious antihero in writer-director Malik Bader?s testosterone-soaked crime thriller ?Killerman,? a movie made by men, about simplistically ruthless men, aimed to entice other men aching for those manly outdated movies ?they don?t make anymore,? where distorted alpha masculinity was solely portrayed through vicious violence, gratuitous sex, and impenetrable coldness.

Screaming and cursing count as acting ? and apparently screenwriting ? in this bleak, boring crime film. Despite the presence of theoretically interesting elements such as dirty cops, amnesia and money-laundering, ?Killerman? is two hours of pure boredom.
